LNOBT presented the premiere of George Frideric Handel’s “Alexander’s Feast”

On 20 and 22 June Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre presented the premiere of George Frideric Handel’s “Alexander’s Feast”. The project is a co-production between the LNOBT, Palace of Arts (Budapest) and “Vilnius Festivals”, and concluded the programme of the prestigious 18th Vilnius Festival.

The production is conducted by Rolf Beck (Germany), known to Lithuanian theatregoers from Robert Wilson’s staging of “Johannespassion” at the LNOBT, second conductor Vytautas Lukočius. Director – Csaba Kael (Hungary), set designer Eva Szendrenyi (Hungary), video designer Laszlo Zsolt Bordos (Hungary), costume and make-up designer Juozas Statkevičius, lighting designer Levas Kleinas, chorus master Česlovas Radžiūnas.
