The Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre has been running the Opera Trainee Program for the tenth season already. Young opera soloists, selected during the audition, become soloists at the LNOBT for the whole season, receiving an opportunity to work with famous singing teachers, directors, conductors, who help them to prepare roles for the theatre stage, participate in performances, and accumulate stage experience.
In 2023-2024 Gabrielė Bukinė, Emilija Finagėjevaitė, Greta Keraitė, Ugnė Matukaitytė, Aurelija Stasiulytė, Evelina Volodkovič, Austėja Zinkevičiūtė worked at the theatre during the season.
Every spring, the soloists prepare a concert program where they present themselves through the sounds of wonderful music. The trainee concert is like a dress rehearsal before the singer's independent path, where concerts, performances, the most famous stages and a dizzying career await! And so, tonight - it is a Dress Rehearsal!
