The privacy policy (hereinafter – the Privacy Policy) of the visitors of the website (hereinafter – the website) of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre (hereinafter – the Theatre) www.opera.lt defines the basic rules and conditions of personal data processing, which must be observed by all website visitors who want to get acquainted with the content offered on the website, buy subscriptions, tickets to performances, events, gift cards, fill in an application for short-term rental of Theatre premises, participate in Theatre support programs, receive Theatre newsletters, take active steps in social networking on Theatre’s accounts, fill in the questionnaire to participate in Theatre’s selections for jobs, communicate with us through the website wishing to take advantage of other services. This Privacy Policy also defines your rights regarding the collection and use of personal data and how you may exercise them.

  1. We undertake not to transfer your personal data to any unrelated third parties, except in the following cases:

    • Providing services to you, purchasing subscriptions, tickets to Theatre performances, events, gift cards, participating in the Theatre Support Program, servicing our website;
    • State institutions authorized to ensure public safety and health, as well as pre-trial and judicial institutions in accordance with the procedure provided in the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.

Requests for the implementation of rights must be submitted to the Theatre in writing (including in electronic format, e-mail opera@opera.lt), and it must be possible to identify the identity of the person making the request and the data subject. The identity of the data subject shall be established by means of an identity document or electronic means which enable the person to be properly identified. If the request is sent by the data subject by post or by courier, a copy of the data subject's identity document certified in accordance with the procedure established by legal acts must be attached to the request. When a person's information is requested by his or her representative, he or she must provide proof of representation and proof of identity. If the application is submitted by e-mail opera@opera.lt, it must be signed with a qualified electronic signature.
  3. Upon receipt of your request or instruction, we will respond no later than one month from the date of the request and will take the action specified in the request or refuse to do so.
